Recently one of Airlogica's newest Zeus customers ran one the standard Zeus reports and found that the rate of Passive Bookings was very high. They then ran detailed reports to find out the source of these Passive Bookings and found that 95% of the Passive Bookings were coming from one agency.
Upon further investigation of these bookings and with Airlogica's assistance they discovered that these Passive Bookings were fraudulent and were leading to NO passengers travelling.
They contacted the GDS involved and as a result of this work, they received a credit from the GDS. In looking at the bookings over the previous months, this agency alone was responsible for 20% of the airline’s TOTAL GDS bill.
This is an example where Zeus has paid for itself immediately, by effectively reducing the annual GDS bill of this airline by 20%.
